Conner/Kon-El also wore a variation of the original costume during his run in Legion (the only difference being that he had a Legion belt). The red and blue look he had was decent enough and I really don't care for the present jeans and t-shirt attire he's sporting at all. I suspect him to come out of OYL (if he does) with an all-together new look.

Modern comic book fans seem to hate costumes. I don't understand why they like superhero comics but hate the superhero costumes.

I liked the "in the middle" costume, with or without the jacket.

The first one seemed so fresh (at least to me) at the time, but the straps, belts, and leather jacket got old pretty quickly. The current getup isn't even a costume. In fact, it makes me wonder if he happend to put on a different t-shirt in the morning if he'd bother to change before superhero-ing.

Yeah I don't quite get that either, his current look is pretty generic overall.

If he survives IC, maybe they will give him a new. I don't even recall seeing anything in the solicits that mention him

For right now the Current Superboy look with jeans and t-shirt works for me, but if he is going to "get back in the game" and all that I want to see him in a new costume.

I like and voted for the jeans and t-shirt, the color scheme works, but when you think about it - it's a pretty lame costume. It's just his clothes. But since he's pretty much invunerable it really doesnt matter.

His original costumes to "90's" and the less said about the hair the better.

And if he's going to co-exist with Superman you can't really have him runing around in the same costume.

Like was said above, i hope they give him a new costume if he makes it out of IC & OYL intact. They should keep the black with the red emblem and work that into an actual variation on the Superman costume, probably sans cape though.

I chose the current super boy, as that's the one I know. And I think it looks pretty cool.

I like the current costume with the jeans and t-shirt. I can see a conflicted teenager wearing something like that, as opposed to some flashy costume.

Somehow it manages to still look cool, and not out of place in a fight scene.

I like the one with the leather jacket. I think he looks like a badass. It gives him an "edge".

I like the current t-shirt and jeans look because he looks like a young Clark in the Byrne era. I don't want him to look like Superman so I think his costume should be a bit different. I understand that his current look looks just like street clothes but it's still neat.

My personal favorite possible costume for Superboy has to be the look that was designed for him by Dave Cockrum in the 1970s when he worked with Cary Bates that was never used.

Dave Cockrum turned his costume designs for the Legion and used them to create the Shi'ar Imperial Guard over at the Marvelous Competitors, where it wound up being Gladiator's outfit (or perhaps Gladiator's outfit was meant to be Mon-El's; I'm really not sure).

That is one sweet, sweet costume, though, and it's unfortunate that for whatever reason it was not used.

As far as I'm concerned, Dave Cockrum ought to design every superhero costume that comes out from now on and into the future. :) Those outfits looked GOOD! My greatest regret is that the 1980s swept away his X-Men designs.

Good god, Superboy's had some awful costumes. The best is original costume, no jacket. (The jacket makes him look like he's got some kind of leather fetish, especially when combined with the already-dated-in-the-1990s hairdo.)

The current costume is second-best, but it's too bland for me to say I actually like it.

I'd say the second jacket costume is the best.

The original Superboy look is far to SuperMan.
The costume we saw from Reign of the Supermen is too 90s.
The current look is too Smallville.

and they don't like anything that reminds them that they are reading something that was originally created for small children, so bring on more darkness and none of that corny kid's stuff they always say.
