Thief steals Nashville coffee shop's "nun bun"
(Nashville, Tennessee-NBC) Dec. 26, 2005 - A cinnamon bun bearing a resemblance to the late Mother Theresa was stolen on Christmas Day from a Nashville coffee shop.
The so-called "nun bun" had been on display at Bongo Java since being discovered nine years ago. Store manager Ryan Finney wishes the thieves had left the "nun bun" in its case, "I wish they would've just thrown eggs at the store or something like that instead of taking something from the whole community."
Mother Theresa is said to have laughed when she learned of the "nun bun" shortly before her death.
No word if police have any suspects in the case.
