I've collected the majority of the Solo issues that have come out, and this current one, profiling Teddy Kristiansen is absolutely a contender for one of the best, and is a standard for why this Solo series is around.
I've had this book for two days and haven't read it yet, because the art is that beautiful. I can't get past it.

I'm a writer-first kind of guy, but great art is great art. The shading, the tones, and textures; everything blends fluentlly.
If you can find a copy, and are an art enthusiast, I highly recommend it.

I was slightly disappointed by this one. The art, of course, was lovely. But I had huge expectations for this one because of Neil Gaiman and the reunion of the HOUSE OF SECRETS team of Teddy K. and Steve Seagle. The results weren't bad - in fact, almost all of them were very good - but I don't think any of them achieved brillaince.

I liked "Ruins" the most, though it felt very much like a HOUSE OF SECRETS story.

I agree; I kept thinking there would be some sort of supernatural twist to that story.

If you like Kristiansen's art, you gotta check out his GN It's a Bird with Steven Seagle. Aweosme stuff.

I loved the deadman story but i thought the art was amazing throughout.
